How does the museum work?
Our museum spans three floors. At reception, you will receive a map equipped with a QR code for your selected language version. You can scan the QR code at each exhibit to unlock voice-overs. You can also access the voice-overs directly via QR codes. Alternatively, you may use the SmartGuide app, which offers additional language versions
Families with Children
Planning a visit with children? Great! Children under 6 years enter free of charge. All children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. For discounted family tickets for various numbers of guests (e.g. two adults, one child), please see our ticket options. Click here
Cloakroom
You can store your coat, jacket, or larger bag in the closet near the reception. Note that we DO NOT take responsibility for personal belongings, so please keep your valuables with you.
Shop
On the ground floor of the museum, you’ll find a gift shop where you can purchase small items connected to Mozart and musical themes, including apparel, sweets, and more . You can also purchase a unique, personalized souvenir: a magnet with your “Mozart” portrait, which you create by taking a photo in the AI photo booth located on the first floor.
Payments
We accept credit/debit card payments as well as cash. Please note that cash payments are accepted in CZK only.
Wifi
Wi-Fi is freely available to all visitors. Password available via QR code.
Accessibility for Visitors with Reduced Mobility
There are two stairs leading from the street to the museum ticket desk, but we are happy to provide portable ramps at the entrance upon request. If needed, please call our reception at +420 724 359 509. Inside the museum, all areas are wheelchair accessible thanks to elevators and adapted spaces. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is available on the third floor.
Restrooms
Restrooms for visitors are available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the museum.
Language Support
You can communicate in several languages at the museum. Wall texts and pre-recorded voice-overs are available in Czech, English, German, and Italian. Through the SmartGuide app https://www.smartguide.app/, you can also access voice-overs in French, Spanish, and Japanese.
