“As a musicologist, I can hardly imagine a better job than ‘working for Mozart.’ Mozart is an endless source of inspiration in everything he wrote, in the way he lived, and in the legacy he left behind. He was a true visionary who, through his work, transcended the boundaries of his time and hinted at the directions musical development might take. That’s why his work never ceases to amaze me, move me, and fill me with joy every time I listen to it.”
From 2015 to 2024, Eva served as editor-in-chief at the music publishing house Bärenreiter Praha. Prior to that, she was the head of the Antonín Dvořák Museum and as a musicologist at the Bohuslav Martinů Institute. She studied musicology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, with residencies at the universities in Marburg and Munich.
Since 2024, Eva has been the director of the Mozart Interactive Museum. She is also a member of grant committees at the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and serves on the boards of several artistic institutions. She is a soprano and chairwoman of the board of the Kühn Mixed Choir. She has successfully written and managed dozens of grant projects, including international projects (ESF, Culture, EEA and Norway Grants). She publishes scholarly and popular articles on Czech music.
At the Mozart Interactive Museum, she developed and leads an educational program designed for schools with a focus on music:

“I believe that every opportunity to step outside the classroom and explore cultural institutions can be enriching and inspiring for students. I’m pleased by the positive feedback from both teachers and students, as well as by the chance to work in a space that is beautiful, playful, full of music, and that presents the personality of W. A. Mozart and the era he lived in in an accessible way.”
She studied Theory and History of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University in Olomouc. However, instead of pursuing a curatorial career, she felt more drawn to the field of informal education within galleries and museums. She is currently continuing her master’s studies in Education and Interpretation of Cultural Heritage at Charles University.
Since 2019, she has been developing and leading school programs at IAM Illusion Art Museum. Since 2024, she has been heading the educational programs at the Mozart Interactive Museum, focusing on connecting music, history, and experiential learning.
